Jennifer Hylton, Psy.D.
Executive Director
​
Dr. Hylton is the owner and Executive Director of the Counseling & Assessment Clinic of Worcester, LLC., which she founded in 2007 with the goal of providing exceptional mental health and substance addiction services to the residents of Central Massachusetts. The Clinic has been a community leader in providing services in the Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative, and in providing substance addiction recovery treatment. Prior to founding the Counseling and Assessment Clinic of Worcester, LLC., Dr. Hylton worked in private practice and at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, Harrington Hospital, and the Worcester Public School system. Dr. Hylton holds degrees from Cambridge College and Antioch University New England. She is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
Elizabeth A. Hylton, PMHCNS-BC
Director of Psychopharmacology

Ms. Hylton is a graduate of the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions - School of Nursing. She holds a BSN and MSN in nursing. She also holds a BA in theatre from The College of the Holy Cross, and is currently training in Drama Therapy. Ms. Hylton has worked extensively with both child and adult clients and has served a diverse clientele. As the head of the psychopharmacology department Ms. Hylton both provides medication management services and oversight of the medication department, ensuring clients receive evidence based holistic care.

Mary L. Wells, LICSW
Clinical Supervisor

Ms. Wells is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who has been with CAC of Worcester for several years, and has over 25 years of experience in the delivery of mental health services. She holds an MSW from the University of CT School of Social Work in Clinical Casework, and a BS from the University of MA Amherst in Community Services and Women's Studies. She has been a clinical supervisor for 13 years, and offers clinical supervision and training of Outpatient Clinicians, IHT service providers, and Social Work and Mental Health Counseling interns at CAC. She also provides direct psychotherapy to clients. She began her career in Human Services in the field of Disability Advocacy and services, and has provided services in educational, medical, neurobehavioral, long term care, vocational and residential settings. Prior supervision experience includes work at Pathways and Valley Psychiatric Services, Independent supervision for the MA Department of Professional Licensure and for Clinicians seeking licensure, and at the Willis Center. She has also served as the Chairperson of the Worcester Area Geriatric Social Workers and as Co-chair of the Springfield Citizen Advocacy Board of Directors. She is thrilled to be part of the CAC team in providing quality, client centered mental health care and addictions treatment.

Gary Breault, CAGS/LMHC
Clinical Supervisor

Mr. Breault holds a MA and CAGS from Assumption College and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. His experience includes providing services for children and adults in various settings including psychiatric hospitals, residential placements, therapeutic schools and outpatient clinics. He has provided supervision to clinicians and interns as well as emergency room evaluations and crisis management. Since joining the CAC team he manages an outpatient caseload of children, adolescents and adults providing therapy and care coordination across various agencies. In addition to his caseload he provides clinical supervision and training to clinicians that implements the high standards of CAC.

Donald O'Clair, Esq.
Business Manager

Mr. O'Clair has served in the role of Business Manager since the inception of the Counseling and Assessment Clinic of Worcester, LLC in 2007. Mr. O'Clair is a graduate of Boston College (1975) and Suffolk Law School (1979). He has been a member of the Massachusetts Bar practicing law in Newton Centre, Massachusetts since 1980. With a focus on business organizations, particularly new businesses, estate and ta planning, Mr. O'Clair has provided advice and guidance on organizational matters, contracts, real estate, as well as forward planning on how CAC of Worcester meet its stated goal of providing quality behavioral health services to diverse and underrepresented populations in the Central Massachusetts area. In his free time, Mr. O'Clair enjoys watching sports, cheering for his favorite teams, reading (and an informal book club), art museums, and there's always the beach and the grandkids.
